Energy storage

The energy your company produces by day, available when the operation needs it.

A solar system without storage stops delivering value when production exceeds the company's instantaneous demand. With batteries, that value is recovered in four ways: peak shaving (cutting contracted power peaks), tariff arbitrage (charging when energy is cheap and consuming during expensive hours), backup for critical loads, and maximising self-consumption — daytime surplus made available for night shifts and continuous processes. For certain profiles, battery flexibility can also be monetised on the market.

We work with industrial-grade lithium-ion batteries (LFP and NMC), with warranties in the 10-year range and expected lifespans beyond 15. Sizing is based on actual load diagrams — we neither over-size nor under-size relative to operational needs.

Storage systems are compatible with both new and existing installations, and can also serve as UPS (grid backup) for critical equipment.

Where batteries create value

  1. Peak shaving

The battery discharges during peak demand minutes to reduce contracted capacity, smooth equipment start-ups and avoid peak penalties. The result is a more predictable load curve without changing operations.

  2. Tariff arbitrage

The system charges during cheap or solar-surplus hours and delivers energy during expensive windows. Savings come from the tariff itself, with operating rules tuned to the company's actual profile.

  3. Critical load backup

Critical loads are protected against grid failures and micro-cuts. We define which circuits feed the battery, how long they need autonomy, and how the system returns to normal after the contingency.

  4. Maximise self-consumption

Solar output that would otherwise be exported or lost is available for night shifts, cold stores, pumping, fleet charging or continuous processes. More of the company's own energy is consumed on site.
